Morning Briefing: Syndergaard Tries to Salvage Series

Good Morning, folks! Noah Syndergaard will try to salvage this series and homestand. The game will start at 1 p.m. and the Mets will face Kyle Freeland.

Yesterday, the Mets got a really solid performance from Steven Matz. Matz went six innings and gave up just one run but the Mets did not score a run. The Mets lost for the fifth straight game. This is a time where that 11-1 start really helps.
