MMO Game Thread: Mets vs. Cardinals, 1:10 PM — Smith Back In

After defeating the Atlanta Braves 6-2 in their Spring Training opener Friday, the Mets will host the St. Louis Cardinals at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie at 1:10 p.m. on Saturday.

Jay Bruce is sidelined with a sore heel and will be sidelined until early next week.

Juan Lagares is also out of the Mets lineup today with a tight left leg, but hopes to play next week as well.

Dominic Smith is back in the Mets lineup today after being scratched Friday after being late.

Seth Lugo will start the game Saturday with Kevin McGowan, Marcos Molina, P.J. Conlon, Corey Taylor and Gerson Bautista also scheduled to pitch.
