Arbitration Update: Mets Settle With All Eligible Players Except Wheeler

With Saturday’s deadline for MLB teams and their arbitration-eligible players to submit salary figures for the 2018 season, the New York Mets reached settlement agreements with all but one of their players.

Here’s the final tally:

AJ Ramos will make $9.225 million this season after earning $6.550 million in 2017.

Jacob deGrom will make $7.4 million this season after earning $4.05 million in 2017.

Noah Syndergaard will make $2.975 million this season after earning $605,500 in 2017. He can also also earn an extra $30 with incentives.

Jeurys Familia will make $7.925 million this season after earning $7.425 in 2017.

Travis d’Arnaud will make $3.47 million this season after earning $1.875 million in 2017.

Wilmer Flores will make $3.4 million this season after earning $2.2 million in 2017.

Matt Harvey will make $5.6 million this season after earning $5.1 million in 2017.

Hansel Robles will make $900,000 this season after earning $553,000 in 2017.

The lone holdout was Zack Wheeler who will go to arbitration with the Mets. Wheeler has filed for $1.9 million and the Mets offered $1.5 million.

The Mets top four relievers of AJ Ramos, Jerry Blevins, Anthony Swarzak and Jeurys Familia will make a combined $29.65 million in 2018.
