It seems to happen every postseason. You have a team packed with 6-7 superstars, but oftentimes it’s the player you least expect that explodes with a dynamic performance that eclipses everyone else on the team.
We saw that in 1986 when Ray Knight out-shined everyone on a roster that included All-Stars Gary Carter, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden and Keith Hernandez. Knight batted .391 with a 1.005 OPS en route to being named the World Series MVP for the Mets.
I thought it would be fun to have a Post Season quiz this week, rather than the usual Mets challenge.
How many World Series MVPs over the last 15 years can you name?
You have three minutes to try and get them all…
Good Luck to all of you!
