Yesterday, the Mets lost Game 1 by a score of 9-2. The Mets did not have much offense going outside of a Tomas Nido two-run double. In Game 2, Seth Lugo dominated over six innings. Travis d’Arnaud led the offense with a RBI double and solo home run. With a hot September, d’Arnaud has boosted his hitting to .246/.296/.451 on the season with a 94 wRC+. Jeurys Familia bent but did not break in the ninth inning to seal the 3-2 victory.
