Jacob deGrom Has Stiff Neck, Start Pushed To Tomorrow

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom will not start tonight because of a stiff neck.

Matt Harvey will instead be moved up a day and start tonight for the Mets as they begin a three-game series against the National League East division leading Washington Nationals.

Harvey will actually be making the start on regular days rest with his last start coming against the Miami Marlins on April 16. The 28-year old is 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in three starts this season.

Rosenthal does say that deGrom will start instead on Saturday when the Mets play the Nats at 4:10 PM.
