Salt Lake Bees 12 (Angels, 40-44), Las Vegas 51s 5 (45-40) Box Score

Herrera played 7 innings in his return from a hamstring injury, that kept him out of the lineup for the last 6 games. He has dealt with back and hamstring injuries often this year, unfortunately.

Montero has been disappointing and ineffective this year in Triple-A, despite reportedly regaining his velocity. Sewald gave up two homers in the 9th inning. Robert Gsellman will start on Saturday after battling a quad injury.

Binghamton Mets 11 (37-48), Hartford Yard Goats 5 (Colorado, 46-38) Box Score

Rosario hit his 10th triple of the season. Carrillo hit a grand slam to put Binghamton ahead in the third inning. Mazzilli has been hitting better since starting out at .232 in April, with a .299/.368/.429 since then. Smith had the day off, but pinch-hit for Pill in the 7th.

McGowan has done excellent in relief with an 1.98 ERA in 13.2 innings.

St. Lucie Mets 4 (42-38), Fort Myers Miracle 3 (Minnesota, 43-39) Box Score

Thompson made his debut at St. Lucie and made two good plays in the field.

Reyes has been horribly inconsistent this year, but is a talented arm that throws in the mid-90’s. Twice drafted Paez has looked excellent in relief for St. Lucie.

Columbia Fireflies 4 (41-43), Charleston Riverdogs (Yankees, 47-35) Box Score

Garcia recorded his first A-ball hit of the season.

Beeler has allowed only one run in 13.1 innings for the Fireflies after pitching seven hitless for the Cyclones out of the bullpen. Alex Palsha recorded his 14th save with a scoreless ninth.

Batavia Muckdogs 15 (Marlins, 5-15) Brooklyn Cyclones 2 (9-11) Box Score

Sanchez is 6 for 13 since returning from a thumb injury which sidelined him for eight games. 4th Rounder SS/2B Michael Paez will join the team after he officially signs. He has agreed to sign for a slot bonus of $446,500. 2nd Rounder Pete Alonso is expected to join the team soon. Here’s a good article on 3rd Rounder Tiberi.
