Mets To Host Anthem Search At Citi Field

The New York Mets today announced they will host the Mets Anthem Search Tuesday, March 24 at Citi Field with the winner performing the National Anthem Friday, September 18 during the Subway Series at Citi Field.

Auditions for the general public start at 10:00 a.m. The first 100 performers to arrive at Hodges VIP (first base side of Citi Field) are guaranteed an audition to sing a song of their choice – excluding the National Anthem – a cappella. Season Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to audition at 9:00 a.m.

Judges will select finalists to advance to the final round of auditions which will take place at a later date during the regular season. Mets staff will select one winner to perform the National Anthem during the Subway Series.

The auditions are free and open to all ages. Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
