Mets Lower Minors: Extra Innings And Errors Doom Kingsport, Offensive Explosion For Cyclones

Up and down, Morris showed some positive signs with a nine-strikeout total over five shutout innings on Sunday.

St. Lucie Rained Out

The St. Lucie Mets were scheduled to face the Fort Myers Miracle on Sunday afternoon, but the game was rained out. The Miracle and the Mets are not scheduled to play each other again, so the game was officially cancelled. The Mets will take on the Palm Beach Cardinals on Tuesday evening at 6:30 in St.Lucie. Chase Huchingson (7-7, 4.47) will toe the rubber for the Mets, while the Cardinals will throw out Kyle Hald (3-2, 3.56).

Just a note, in the last lower MiLB post, KyMets asked what happened to our A-Rod, Aderlin Rodriguez. To be honest, I have not seen a thing about it, but he has not played since August 8th where he drilled his sixth HR in St. Lucie, and his 22nd overall on the year.

Gnats Notes

The Savannah Sand Gnats had a scheduled day off on Sunday. They return to action on Monday evening against the Lexington Legends with the starting pitcher yet to be announced on their official website.
