Update 4:00 PM Ronny Cedeno has been placed on the 15-day DL with a strained intercostal muscle. To take Cedeno’s place on the roster, the Mets recalled RHP Jeremy Hefner from Triple-A Buffalo who had been put on the taxi squad earlier.
