Sandy Alderson indicated to reporters that Zack Wheeler did see a doctor after complaining of shoulder stiffness last week, . The exam came at the stadium from the doctor on duty, not via a special trip to the Hospital for Special Surgery. The Mets have announced that David Wright will be activated from the 15-Day Disabled List prior to tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Wright has been on the disabled list since August 3rd with a grade two tight hamstring strain.
