This weekend, the rosters for the 82nd annual MLB All-Star Game were announced. Finally, after 13 years, the National League ended their winless drought and beat the American League 3-1 in last night’s All-Star Game. The Brave’s Brian McCann had the biggest hit of the night when he stroked a three-run double off of White Sox’ reliever Matt Thornton in the seventh inning. According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today via Twitter, the Mets will host the 2013 MLB All-Star Game. Selig will say Wednesday that KC will host the 2012 All-Star Game.The Mets will get the game in 2013, Minnesota in 2014, and DC in 2015. According to mlb.com, Phillies’ outfielder Jayson Werth has been added to the National League All-Star team to replace injured Mets centerfielder Carlos Beltran.
