An article by posted on March 21, 2010 0 Comments

As my excitement for the new season grows stronger with each passing day, there are still several questions and question marks that occupy my mind. According to Adam Rubin, of the Daily News, Jerry Manuel  does in fact intend to use Jenrry Mejia in short relief appearances. First, Mr. Rubin’s quote, than my outrage. Look for Manuel to get his way with Jenrry Mejia, at least as far as working the 20-year-old righthander as a reliever from this point forward […]

I Like Ike – Mets Need To Bring Davis North…

An article by posted on March 5, 2010 0 Comments

ESPN Is As “Fair and Balanced” As FOX News

An article by posted on February 7, 2010 0 Comments

This morning I was genuinely touched by the sheer thoughtfulness and care exhibited by Buster Olney of ESPN.com, who took it upon himself to seek out not one, but two talent evaluators to give us an assessment of our catcher Omir Santos. For those of you who don’t subscribe to ESPN Insider, here is what the […]

Here’s some more positive news on the Mets front. Last night, Mets outfield prospect Fernando Martinez belted a three-run homer and collected six RBI’s as the Leones clobbered Cibao in Game 3 of the Caribbean Championship Series.
