Dodgers Manager Wishes His Team Would Do It Wright

As the Mets get ready to sink the Dodger's post season ambitions, check out what frustrated manager, Grady Little, had to say after the game.

His reply was to a question that asked what went wrong in the first two games in the series against the Mets. His reply ends up being a back-handed compliment of David Wright, and a punch to the gut of his own team.

"We have struggled with (key) at-bats a lot, and we have been through some really bad spells with runners in scoring position and not had success," Little said. "I'm not singling out one player. I think the whole ballclub is guilty of it."

"I sit there and watch at-bats by our ballclub in key spots, and then I watch the other side," Little said. "I see, with a runner in scoring position, David Wright and how he works the middle of the field every single time and has success doing it. That's the story."

Reading that quote while having some breakfast made for a perfect start to the day.

Grady is Right on Wright!!!
Too bad he is ours and will be the MVP in the NL this year!!!!!

If Wright wants to have a chance of winning the MVP, he needs to hit atleast 30 homeruns and bat in around 110 batters. I dont know if Wright can do that but hopefully he does.
