Mets Look To Split Series With the Nats
Mets vs. Nationals
Game 4 of 4
The Mets look to split this series with the Nats as every win is a valuable one especially with the news of Mark Teixera most likely being on the Braves at the end of the day.
Pitching Matchup:
John Maine (11-5) vs. Billy Traber (2-1)
Notes:
John Maine looks to get win #12 coming out of a great pitching and hitting performance last game.
Billy Traber is a former Mets top prospect (of that I am pretty sure).
The Lineup:
Jose Reyes (SS), followed by Lastings Milledge (CF), David Wright (3B), Carlos Delgado (1B), Moises Alou (LF), Damion Easley (RF), Ramon Castro (C), Ruben Gotay (2B), and John Maine (P).
Notes:
Milledge is starting in center once again and hitting second for the 3rd time this year.
Ramon Castro gets the start replacing Paul Lo Duca because of the hamstring injury.
Easley is in right because of the Mets having absolutely no depth in the bench.
Go Mets!

Come on. What difference does one guy make? We need to win as many games as possible, period.

Paul Lo Who? Give me more Castro! Dude is on fire! The Mets should ride his bat for as long as this hot streak keeps going!

I hope Lo Duca comes back because if Castro consistentley plays everyday he'll be exposed as a backup...he can't throw out runners and his hot bat will only last so long
