Duda Says “Everything’s Good” After Being Scratched Friday, Chance He’ll Play Today
Mets left fielder Lucas Duda was a late scratch from Friday’s 6-2 victory over the Tigers. Duda left camp briefly to be examined for a non-baseball-related health issue, reports Marc Carig of Newsday. General manager Sandy Alderson categorized the issue as minor and Duda refused to elaborate. “Everything’s good,” he said. Manager Terry Collins told reporters that Duda might also be out of the lineup for this afternoon’s game against the Marlins.

Murphy Will Be Fine, Could Miss A Week To Ten Days
Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy is back in camp after flying to New York yesterday to be examined by team doctors for what was being diagnosed as a strained intercostal muscle. Adam Rubin of ESPN New York confirmed through a second source that Murphy received a cortisone shot and that the diagnosis “was consistent” with the intercostal strain. Mets Rename Their Spring Home Tradition Field
Adam Rubin reports that the Mets’ stadium in St. Lucie, formerly known as Digital Domain Park, is reverting back to Tradition Field. Tradition, Florida is again the sponsor, but no details on the naming rights deal yet. The Mets ballpark held the name Tradition Field from 2004-09. During the regular season, the St. Lucie Mets play their home games at Tradition Field.

Mets Sign Two Outfielders To Minor League Deals
According to Matt Eddy of Baseball America, the Mets have signed outfielders Corey Patterson and Mike Wilson to Minor League contracts. Patterson, 33, last played in the majors in 2011 where he hit .157 with three RBI in 57 plate appearances with the Cardinals. Last season, he batted .251/.285/.410 in 387 plate appearances for Triple-A Nashville in the Brewers system.
