According to Baseball America, the Mets have agreed to terms with Luis Mateo for $150,000, which should end a three-year process for the 21-year-old Dominican righthander with a mid-90s fastball to get signed. After Saturday’s game and during the post game show on SNY, the Mets announced that RHP Jeurys Familia has been promoted from High-A St. Lucie up to Double-A Binghamton. Familia was off to a great start at St. Lucie and had a 1-1 record with a 1.49 ERA in six starts. He racked up 36 strikeouts against eight walks in 36 innings pitched.
