Travis Taijeron Named Player of the Week
Today, Mets outfield prospect Travis Taijeron was named the South Atlantic League’s Player of the Week. The Mets’ 18th-round pick last June, Taijeron has been a run-producing machine for the Sand Gnats. 2012 MLB Draft: No Consensus No. 1 Pick In June
MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo says that this year’s draft does not have a consensus number one pick.
