Should Teams Be Required To Raise Height of Railings At Ballparks?
For many fans. one item that they always bring to the ballpark is their baseball gloves. We all know why they bring them – it’s so they can catch a ball that has either been hit or touched by a player. This has been part of baseball tradition for a long time. But as of late, this tradition is now under some scrutiny by many in the media because of the tragedy that struck during a Texas Rangers home game. Just [...]

Izzy Asks Alderson Not To Trade Him
According to the New York Daily News, Izzy has asked Sandy Alderson to not trade him. When asked about being traded, Isringhausen said this. I have two places in my hear; St. Louis, because I’m from there, and New York, because this is where I started. Those are my two favorite spots, and I don’t think I’m going back to St. Louis anytime soon. And I love it here…To be able to get close, or [...]

Well Mets fans, it appears that the Mets have now engaged at least one team in trade talks. Closer Francisco Rodriguez appears to be the Mets’ first trade chip to be actively shopped. We Need More Mets With Dickey’s Warrior Mentality
I have to give R.A. Dickey a lot of respect for what he did in his last start. He went out there with a foot injury and made the best of it, despite giving up runs that eventually won the game for the Pirates. Call me crazy, but overall he pitched well despite the obvious pain as he grimaced almost every time his foot landed. Dickey gave the Mets seven shutout innings and a chance to win [...]
