Jerry Crasnick of ESPN reported that teams may have a resolution in Giancarlo Stanton talks by the Winter Meetings. The Hot Stove seems to be at a standstill right now, but perhaps a final verdict on the Stanton saga will get the ball rolling.

MMO’s own, Jacob Resnick, said the Baltimore Orioles signed Josh Edgin to a minor league deal. Edgin pitched for the Mets from 2012-2017.

The Atlanta Braves fired Adam Fisher according to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic. Fisher was a longtime special assistant to the GM for the Mets, but left for the assistant GM job in Atlanta. He joined before the scandal rocked the Braves front office.
