The Mets were working towards ending their losing streak on Monday night until the 8th inning when the bullpen imploded for a second straight day. ow the Mets find themselves mired in a five game slide against the ace of the Diamondbacks staff who has returned to form this year in Zack Greinke.

Tommy Milone is making his second start for the Mets after he was claimed off waivers from Milwaukee on May 7. He worked five innings and allowed two runs on May 10 vs. San Francisco. Milone has 21 strikeouts and four walks this year.

Zack Greinke is 4-1 with a 2.74 ERA (14 earned runs/46.0 innings) in seven career regular season starts vs. the Mets.
