RHP Kenta Maeda (3-3, 3.29) vs. RHP Noah Syndergaard (5-2, 1.94)

The Mets walked off on the Dodgers last night and look to keep rolling tonight. Jacob deGrom put together a fantastic outing going 7.0 innings, striking out seven holding the Dodgers to just one run. Then Familia allowed four runs in the ninth allowing the Dodgers to tie the game. But Curtis Granderson smacked a game-winning homer in the bottom of the inning and Citi Field erupted with joy.

The Mets have won six of their last seven games and are 7-3 in their last 10 contests…New York has won four straight at home and 13 of its last 17 at Citi Field. New York is 4-0 this season at home when they draw more than 40,000 fans.

David Wright has homered in each of his last three games and has five RBI in those contests. The last time Wright went deep in three straight games he played in was August 2-September 21, 2013. Wright has six RBI in his last five games and has hit in six straight games.

Noah Syndergaard, who was named the National League Player of the Week for the week of May 16-22, gets the starting nod for the Mets tonight. Syndergaard has 76 strikeouts through his first nine starts, the third-most in team history. He is fourth in the majors with a 1.94 ERA and is tied for sixth in the majors with his 76 Ks.
