draft - milton ramosRound 3 – With the 84 overall selection in the third round of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected American Heritage School SS Milton Ramos. Considered strong on defense but below average bat.

Hitting for Average: 40/55
Hitting for Power: 40/50
Fielding: 55/70

eudor garcia 3bRound 4 - With the 115 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected third baseman Eudor Garcia-Pacheco (El Paso CC).

Baseball America: One of the best hitters in the draft. Where he plays defensively, we’ll see. But that dude rakes.

Garcia hit .460 this season for EPCC with 14 home runs, an .873 slugging percentage and 165 total bases.

In two years at EPCC, he hit .435, had 23 homers and had 290 total bases.

RHP Josh - PrevostRound 5 - With the 145 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected Seton Hall RHP Josh Prevost.

He was ranked 140th on the Baseball America Top 500.

Prevost is a massive 6’8 200 pound right-hander posted a 1.62 ERA in 15 started for Seton Hall.

He also struck out 111 and had a minuscule .158 batting average against.

select LSU catcher Tyler - Moore in sixth round.Round 6 - With the 175 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected LSU catcher Tyler Moore.

Versatile player who plays catcher or one of the corner infield positions.

He features a smooth left-handed swing and has a reputation for coming through in the clutch.

He won the MVP award in the SEC Tournament after racking up six RBIs to lead LSU to their second straight conference title.

Round 7 - With the 205 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected Oklahoma City University LHP Brad Wieck.

Round 8 - With the 235 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected Trinity Catholic HS (FL) 1B Dash Winningham.

Round 9 - With the 265 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected William & Mary OF Michael Katz.

Round 10 - With the 295 overall selection of the 2014 first year player draft, the Mets selected UNC Wilmington LHP Kelly Secrest.

The MLB Draft will conclude on Saturday when they will complete rounds 11 through 40.
