Noah Syndergaard delivered his most dominant performance of the season on Wednesday night as Las Vegas defeated Reno by the score of 6-1.

Syndergaard threw 96 pitches over seven innings allowing an unearned run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven – a new season-high.

Three of his seven strikeouts came in his final two innings when he reached back and hit 99 mph twice after sitting at 96-98 throughout his outing.

Thor’s strong effort lowered his ERA to 3.94 for the season, no doubt reflecting the hitter-friendly conditions at Cashman Field where he’s made five of his six starts.
