West Haven police have arrested a local man accused of Tweeting threats toward executives, players and coaches of the New York Mets, along with a specific threat to Citi Field, police said, according to a report on NBC Connecticut.

Police arrested Aryn Leroux, 32, of 173 Contact Drive in West Haven today on an outstanding warrant.

Police said the arrest warrant was issued after a joint investigation from the New York Police Departments 110th Precinct detective squad, the Queens District Attorney’s office and West Haven Detective Sean Faughnan.

Leroux was charged with threatening in the second degree and breach of peace and is being held on a $2,500 bond and will be arraigned at Milford Superior Court.

Lots of whack-jobs out there these days….
