Omaha 5, Las Vegas 4

D.J. Mitchell struggled and allowed ten of of Omaha’s 11 hits over his five innings of work, which led to four earned runs crossing the plate. At the time of his departure from the ballgame, Las Vegas had scored three runs.

Eric Campbell was responsible for all of them with an RBI single in the second and a two-run single in the third. Gonzalez Germen came on to start the sixth and recorded the next six outs without any problems, picking up two punchouts along the way.

Josh Edgin allowed a run in the eighth when Chad Tracy grounded out to score Anthony Seratelli. Seratelli doubled earlier in the frame.

Andrew Brown scored a run in the ninth after he lead-off the frame with a triple, but Kirk Niewenhuis struck out with the bases loaded to end the game.
