Talented prospects like this one are always great to have in the system, but when you find out they love the Mets it makes it extra special. I wish him a great season in 2013 and hope we see him in the big leagues in the not too distant future.

Loved this interview Ted with Robert Whalen.

Sounds like a mature young man who has a good head on his shoulders. Best of luck to him as he starts his professional career with the Mets system.

Maybe a bit of a diamond in the rough? Due to his first dead arm period in senior year, we might have got lucky in this round.
