Great relievers are worth an extra two or three wins each year, any player acquired would give less than half a season maybe ~30 innings, it would be the height of stupidity for a team in the Mets position to give up anything more than organizational fodder for a reliever and good relievers aren’t available for organizational fodder.

One is awarded to the CAUSE the other is rewarded to the guy the CAUSE drove in!

Not all RS’ get an RBI do they? SO if they were the same and RBI would be awarded EVERYTIME an RS is made…
