Keith is a very entertaining broadcaster. He also tells it like it is. He is a breath of fresh air. We are lucky to have him, Ron and Gary. Michael Kay and John Sterling are horrible.

Some broadcasters are nothing more than “shills” for the team that pays their salary. I don’t find that in Keith Hernandez, He is knowledgeable and entertaining and speaks his mind. Never sugar coats anything.

I thought Keith was pretty sharp yesterday. He kept the fans entertained, during a long spring training game. While Keith at times may be irreverent, yesterday he also showed no tolerance for the poor play of Astros. Keith was all over F-MArt for backing up on a fly ball, and the Astros third baseman for not getting off the bag and covering a wild throw. You’re not going to get that form a lot of broadcasters.
As a player, Keith is my all-time favorite Met. His number should be retired.

You do realize although different styles “one get me out of here” the other I” love it here “; Keith and Vin Scully both digress and talk about everything some relevant and a lot not relevant.

Do you like Vin Scully announcing style? Red Barber was also in the chit chat style if you will.
I grew up a Brooklyn Dodger’s fan and still enjoy listening to Vin Scully.

I must admit as to Keith, his “get me out of here before I hit traffic” attitude distracts; but I still think he is a definite plus with Cohen and Darling.

Keith should be in the Hall of Fame. He defined the first base position and was a great hitter. He should be in Cooperstown.

So, I made a typo. “Naseball” was supposed to be “Baseball”.

Keith Hernandez was probably one of the best first basemen that has ever played baseball. And his slugging at the plate would be impressive for any big league star.

keith hernandez is the single worst announcer in the entire history of naseball. His stupid unimportant mind-farts are neither interesting, informative, relavent or necessary.

Who cares that he warched some naked man in a sauna? OR, that someone has to stay home to watch his cat?

Garry Cohen and Ron Darling are excellent. Maybe they could get Pee Wee Herman to replace hernandez????

The content would then at least be entertaining and worthwhile.
