In all seriousness, it is good to see young players give back. I think the Mets did a good job supporting the Sandy relief with the Wilpons offering up Citi Field and some bucks for relief work to many of the players working food lines. Baseball is still a game and needs to be kept in its proper perspective. An event like that puts things in the proper light: compared to what people suffered (are suffering) what difference does a fly ball or strikeout really make?
