TJ — Serious question: Do you really think Radomski risked his plea deal, a perjury indictment, and jail time just to cover up for the Mets? His plea deal mandated that he tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Boy, I guess he’s a big time Mets fan, then? You’d have to be to risk jail time just to protect the Mets. And I guess he hates the Yankees? Because he had no problems throwing them under the bus when he sang to the feds.

If I had to predict how this goes down in the worst case scenario, it will be about Goins and the ACES runner. Those 2 are the key.

For Gio is there is even a shred of evidence that he has spoken to or met Bosch – he’s done.

For Braun and others, it’s about the UMiami S&C coach that they use in the offseason and the ACES runner who picks up and drops off.

“During the course of preparing for my successful appeal last year, my attorneys, who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch, used him as a consultant. More specifically, he answered questions about T/E ratio and possibilities of tampering with samples.”

Opening statement from Braun’s attorney

“I was not familiar with Tony Bosch prior to Ryan Braun’s case.”

So how could his lawyer be previously familiar with Bosch while prepping his case if the lawyer said he didn’t know anything about Bosch UNTIL the case started?

Actually it’s 100% contradictory to what Braun said

Braun said his lawyer were previously familiar with Tony Bosch prior to using him as a consultant on his case.

His lawyer said he was not familar with Bosch until the Braun case.

That’s kind of consistent with what Braun said.

He is admitting to working with Bosch briefly once the case began for his “false” positive.

I’m not saying I believe the two of them whatsoever, however their statements are somewhat consistent.

“I was not familiar with Tony Bosch prior to Ryan Braun’s case.

“In the 15 years that I have represented players facing discipline under the various professional sports leagues’ substance abuse and steroid programs, I have relied primarily, if not exclusively, on Dr. David L. Black and his team of scientists at Aegis Sciences Corporation in Nashville, TN as my experts with respect to scientific and other matters relevant to the testing of player specimens.

“Bosch was introduced to me at the earliest stage of Ryan’s case. I found Bosch’s value to be negligible and, thereafter, I followed my prior practice of relying on Aegis in the preparation of Ryan’s winning defense.”

Wait a minute.

How badly was Melky treated? Melky just faded away for the rest of the year. You know when he caught the most heat?

When he was involved in creating a fake website for his appeal hearing.

This idea that he “admitted” what he did is a 100% lie. Literally, there’s no truth to it. He did everything and then some to try and get away with it. When he finally got busted with the website and his tests etc – he admitted defeat.

I think Braun is in trouble here and as I stated below, he and his lawyer released contradictory statements and that spells for bad news for him.

And further your example of the HoF voting and MVP voting is also not accurate.

The Braun case just got more interesting

Last night Braun said and I quote directly

“my attorneys, who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch, used him as a consultant.”

Yet today, Braun’s attorney release a statement and it said, again quoting

“I was not familiar with Tony Bosch prior to Ryan Braun’s case.”

Melky’s still pisses me off. I have already said my piece on the scum that is Braun. Melky should have been suspended for a year. Not only did he take roids but then he tried to deceive baseball by inventing companies to cover it up and his repayment? 16M dollars. That’s the most absurd thing I have ever heard. For one the player should never be able to sign that type of contract following the suspension and for two the BJ’s should have karma rain down upon them like fire from the heavens.
