Noticed you were All Conference as a college player in your bio, where did you go? This is the best real analysis I’ve ever seen done on any Mets site ever before. There was a need for some real analysis on Mets prospects from someone who seems to know exactly what he’s talking about. Ever have any major league tryouts? Not sure he would be able to add much more velocity but it would consistently be closer to 95mph instead of varying between 90-95mph.

sure, some guys have flaws that sap some velocity, so they can add a few MPH if they work out the kinks.

I appreciate the thoughtful analysis. I’m hoping that they’ll eventually work on his release point and form and that he can still be a viable starter. At times last year he looked as good or even better than the rest of his also impressive teammates Luis Cessa, Rainy Lara, etc.

There’s no shortage of guys like him in this system. It’ll be fun to watch come 2015 when there’s about 10 pitchers all needing a place to play.
