On June 1, 2012 Johan Santana officially became my favorite current Met! I'm a Queens native who grew up in the shadows of Big Shea. I was a huge Ron Darling, Dave Magadan and John Olerud fan. Honored to be a part of such a great site for Mets fans. Ya Gotta Believe!

Is this actually an article?
No it’s actually an informational piece for Mets fans who care to know what the uniform numbers are for the new players in camp. But thanks for the comment, it was invigorating. We have over 10,000 other articles you can read instead.
Unlike 69 (Donn Clendennon) and 86 (Ray Knight) #22 is NOT a righthanded infielder, so as my MetsTheory we will not win a championship. But on the good side #3 is being worn by a SS as in those years.
Nice to see all of the likely starters, unless they sign Bourn, are in camp early.
So according to Rubin of the 58 players expected in camp Mejia has yet to arrive due to Visa issues and Spin and Byrd just finished the Caribbean Series and he has yet to see Puello and Quintanilla. So 53 of the 58 players are already in camp.
Not bad.
