It is shaping up to have a lot of veterans to start, with the young power arms getting ready at AAA. Hopefully in time so as the initial guys need replacing (performance or health) there are LT options ready to plug in.

and absolute best case, if the team is not in the playoff race, is having 1-2 guys on their way out (Lyon, FFF types) performing well enough to to bring back something useful in a trade, freeing up spots for guys like Familia to step in and take over.

Famillia will be in there eventually as well. Hoping Francisco pitches extremely well and they trade him, Parnell will take over and if he stinks it up again then Lyon would close. Lyon is the back up for this season. Lots of arms, possibilities, and competition there which is a good thing.
