  • Some really nice promotions but if I could only go to one of these games it would most likely be the Mets Toy Truck giveaway.

  • Have many a Met bobblehead and would love to add Ron Darling and Doc’s to my collection. We’ve also got some great caps given away from a quarter century ago – a pair of 25th anniversary baseball caps from the 1986 season and old Brooklyn Dodger and New York Giant caps from “nostalgia night” the year before when Rusty Staub, of all people, had a pinch-hit three run homer in an eventual losing cause.

I remember a funny story – while listening to the game on radio during Roberto Alomar bobblehead day, I think it was Gary Cohen who said the head broke off from his. :)

  • So they did away with Salsa night, Irish Night, Italian Night and all those other ethnic nights?

  • I look forward to Witness Protection Night. That’s where the dozen or so fans who go to a game in late August get to relocate with new identities.
