Not every one is built for NY. The bright lights blind plenty of folks. Just cause you can make it in San Fran, doesn’t mean you’ll conquer NY. The reverse however is much easier.

I wouldn’t be shocked if both thrived again in Frisco and I won’t be upset about it. Some players can’t handle the pressure. Pagan would never be a 40 million dollar player here.

Yes, he had a couple good seasons in Queens, but not worth 40 million. This trade went sour, but not every trade works out. Frisco got the better that time. It still pales in comparison to the Wheeler deal which has a chance to pay off for years and years.

That trade worked out pretty awful for us. Most of us who never understood the Pagan vilifying got drowned out with this trade. That it didn’t work out, just made me even more mad. No one knew that Ramirez would struggle as much. Torres you knew was a downgrade, but Ramirez was supposed to pick up the slack…and didn’t. But good for them for going back where they’re comfortable and for having a chance to win.
