The two biggest battles will not really be battles at all….

I’ll begrudgingly agree with Xtreem and say the 5th starter spot will be where all the talk is…
WHeeler will pitch well enough to win it and probably beat out everyone for it but they will send him down anyway. I expect they send him to the MiL field early in ST to head that off at the pass….

Other one will be about d’Arnaud being the starting C….He too will start in AAA despite doing well enough to win the starting role.

And those two will dominate the conversations on MMO throughout the spring.

at this point, there should only be 3 starting gigs set for position players (really 2, but I concede the 3rd), 4 SP spots, and a couple of pen spots. And in the pen, nobodies specific role should be guaranteed.

Plus the entire bench along with a bunch of the starting gigs should not even be set for roster spots.

basically, other than 1-4 SP, 3B, 1B and for now SS, and 2 BP spots every spot on the roster should be up for grabs, let the best man win.

As it stands now, quite a few positions up for grabs.
We’ve got the platooned OF, the BP arms and the 5th starter.
