The part that hit home most for me was where you wrote “You don’t just remember the events of the game, you recall the person you shared that moment with.”

Many of my favorite baseball memories was because of who I shared them with at the time.

Nice piece Mitch. For me the best smell at the ballpark is that of the roasting hot dogs, and stale beer (I’m serious). It’s that first wiff you get one your way to your seat.
You’re also right, I remember very few particulars of the game, but I remember and tresure the memories of those I’ve gone to games with.
