New blood is needed to transfuse real logic and real understanding of this current game we call baseball. Being out of touch and grouping a crop of deserving players with one’s who should have never been allowed on to the ballot is an utter travesty. They should be ashamed and embarassed for dis-allowing derserving players there rightful place in the Hall.

Agree with your thinking on this. Not voting HOF worthy candidate in on the first ballet, strictly for that reason only, doesn’t make sense. It’s not like there’s a separate wing in the HOF for first-time-on-the-ballet inductees.
