Sandy hired the two other heads of that monster and just extended the contract for one last month – while firing another front office executive at the same time. Talk about patronizing one’s friends (they all worked under him before).

And regarding patronage, last year he fires one scout yet hired his own son (who was woriing with Oakland at the time) as well. Talk about nepotism,

But of course, this didn’t stop him from also firing ten percent of the administrative work force including long-time employees in the ticket office.

Yes, it was all about money – except when it came to him and his own.

As explained many times, this is a fan site that is all about comments, it’s not for you to call people out for doing so, having a differing opinion and posting is not baiting, instigating or reprimanding, it’s simply one person’s way of posting their thoughts which may differ from yours.

Funny how you are always the first to post on most threads, especially the ones about DW and repeat the words choke artist, overrated and make up lies about what other professionals have or have not said about him, yet your call out someone else here for always responding with their comments.

Plus, Ian Kennedy is one year removed from a 21-4 record. They have a need at 3B, SS and then OF if Upton is traded. They are holding out for their lives to get Andrus or Profur. Dickey would be a luxury for them, and they have more pressing needs than luxuries…

I will repeat again they dont want upton. They have plenty of OF depth that is far cheaper for them. They are in the same division as the world champs 2 out the last 3 years. You think they cant use a cy young pitcher to lead thier pursuit or do you think they will try with the youngsters? that is the question here.

Ethier makes annualy what Dickey wants annually. Dodgers get their #2 starter to go with Kershaw. Duda replaces Ethier. Gorski their potantial LOOGY down the road. Everybody wins. Mets have first everyday right fielder since Darryl Strawberry went to LA.
