Nice work, Barry. The inexact science of forecasting rookies is reflected on the cover. Epstien is the only one I remember from his days in Oakland. They really were convserative werent they only a “good” fastball from Seaver and Ryan” ?. Chilcott was done in by an injury so I wouldnt call him a bust. He will always be infamous because the mets picked him over Reggie Jackson that year. Barry I wonder if you could find the 83 or 84 editions to compare the other bountiful period in the mets system.

Is it safe to say that Chilcott may have been the biggest bust in our history? Bosch was going to something special I guess in the mold of Paul Blair, and as for your HOF comment, on the Dodgers, Yankees, O’s or Reds, Kooz would have certainly been a hall of famer.
