Tovar really is an amazing defender.

I seriously don’t get it. The guy is solid defensively and he does a pretty fair job with the bat. He may not be a dynamic superstar but to be honest I don’t think those kinda guys are the key to success any more. Solid dependable players have netted many recent playoff appearances.

with so many open spots and question marks, everything (other than 3B now of course) should be on a year to year basis.
