Jason Bay Close To Deal With Mariners
ESPN.com’s Brock and Salk show has reported that the Seattle Mariners are close to a deal with former Mets outfielder Jason Bay. At this point the potential terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
If you remember, The Seattle Mariners were one of the other teams in pursuit of Bay when the Mets eventually won out and signed him. It’s too bad they didn’t outbid the Mets during that forgettable offseason.

Seattle had a meeting that started off like this….
GM – “You Know? We just aren’t bad enough what hell are we going to do?”
Asst – “Get Jason Bay?”
GM – “GENIUS!”
Did someone Photoshop that smile on Jason Bay’s face in the thumbnail? I can’t recall ever seeing Bay look so happy.
That was the day he passed his physical and his 66 million dollar deal became official. lol
lol you beat me to it.
Is Seattle in Canada? or Japan?
They ALL are FAR enough away from Citifield!!!
