Who was more valuable to the yankees? Cano or Ibanez? Ibanez had a great postseason, but they ain’t there if Ibanez’s bat replaces Cano in 162 games. If the Mets make the playoffs its probable that Wright had a good-great season. Whether he hits a game winning HR in a playoff game doesn’t determine his value.

If it did guys like Granderson or Cano would lose their job to Ibanez.

Even though that both players were in the same lineup for a large part of these games and that this is just a slight 615-595 record mistake and Reyes career record in games as a Met is 546-504 the idea that both Reyes or Wright are solely responsible for that record is a stretch to say the least.

Don’t worry I’m sure if the Mets ever win a W.S. with Wright still a Met in the coming years I’m sure there will be something Wright does wrong that someone will be sure to bring up to take away from him.

I honestly dont get your logic how this is a odd or bad deal for the Nats. Haren is coming off a season in which he struggled due to injury He passed the physical and is only signed for “1year”…a prove your healthy deal.

And its crazy to compare Lannan to Haren career wise or even last years totals….When Haren pitched in 30 games 176.2 innings.

You realize Lannan only pitched in “6 Games” for the Nats last year 32.2 innings???

Lannan couldnt crack the rotation let alone the bullpen….He was in their minors majority of the year
