I hope all works out and RA signs because he, seeing the way mgmt and media types (Davidoff) treated him, he deserves some job security if anything for making the 2012 season joyful while he was here.

I hope he wins 20 in Toronto with the better offense though not a great pitchers park and having Jose at SS will help.

I hope that SA and Davidoff are happy to have maligned the best story for Mets this year.

Cause you guys who all cite these “we were not going anywhere” excuses seem to miss the point…

We are SUPPOSED to get better every year, Not tread water or get worse!

If you get hit by a bus this time next year you won’t ever get to enjoy this 6 years from now you keep talking about.

Love the way that so many supporters of getting rid of talent keep telling us where were the Mets going anyway. Of course they weren’t going anyway. Why? Because the GM couldn’t make the team better so he tells the loyal flock wait until 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 etc etc etc and the blind followers keep on clucking 2017 2018 2019, can we beat the Pirates record? anyway enjoy the losing. The Met fan base will shrink ever more while the few blind followerers keep up the charade.

Wow. I can’t believe what I’m reading. The Mets trade a 38 year old knuckleballer that they got off the trash heap for next to nothing and get back two potential studs and the sky is falling. Where in the world were the 2013 Mets going with Dickey? Fourth place at best. Now they’ll finish fourth, but at least have two players that can grow with the the rest of the team. Heck, when Ralph Kiner asked the Pirates for a raise after winning the home run crown, they asked him “what place did we finish?” He replied “last!” The owner replied…”we can finish last without you!”
Well we can finish fourth with or without Dickey folks.

dickey should sign with the bluejays no other team went after him they all have there pitchers if he turns down the bluejays i can see alex taking everything off the table with the mets then what dickey would have to play out his last year with the mets and next year no team is gonna want to sign him for 2 years because he would almost be 40 so he might get a one year contract and thats it if anyone would want him if someone did he more and likley get a 6 million dollar deal if dickey and his agent is smart take the bluejays deal this way he signs an extention and stays with toronto for three years i think he will sign an extention with the bluejays he would be stupid not to

Ah yes, the stench of Alderson’s yes men or should we now more appropriately say yes little zombies. All lined up to trash a man who helps humanity, does stuff for the needsy. What a horrid dude. The only ones in baseball who don’t want him are the scum that are in the exec offices in the city morgue, Alderson and Wilpon. Congrats to Dickey on leaving the hell hole in queens and getting away from putrid fake fans like donal and jessup, They’ll love you in Toronto dickey, as real fans do in NY. ra dickey should take toronto blue jays deal if he doesn;t sign then mets will get nothing alex won’t offer anything else no other team is after dickey so the mets will have to keep him next year and he knows they will not sign him say next year if someone wants dickey no major team will take him for 2 years he would be lucky if a team takes him for one year if anyone takes him for 2 years it will be a team that will not make a playofffs so he wouldn’t win a world series to be honest if he don’t sign with toronto with an extention no team will take him mets could say we will give you 2 years for 6 million a year and he would have to take that dickey should say to alex were do i sign will not get a deal like this again jays are the only team who was interested in him i know they are giving up 2 good praspects but they could turn out to be like travis snider was who knows they could be great but i hope ra dickey uses his head and says i will sign with toronto they have the best chance of winning one to three world series if he wants to win one he will sign with toronto he would be very stupid not to sign with the bluejays

Unlike you and your group of yes men and ladies, Dickey is a man, his own man, and a man with a brain and his own thoughts. Probably why you and zombie man don’t like him. His head goes sideways, not just up and down.. He can figure out what is good for him. He doesn’t need a clown and a pawn of zombie man Alderson telling him what to do.
