My concern is that the non-roids Melky shows up. His numbers before 2011 are Mike Baxter-esque.

I’m all for Sandy bringing in the Melk Man if possible on make good 1 year deal for 5MM. The Melk man would immediately become the Mets best all around OF in RF and a key middle of the order bat to go along with David. I think Cody Ross, the item of affection for Sandy is just going to be too expensive for Sandy and the Mets. IMO, the Melk man is the most realistic option if Sandy wants to upgrade 1 of the OF spots.
