I am so disgusted you have no idea the great lengths I go through just not to give them money for the very reasons you stated. I’ve gone from being a season ticket holder to only a few games a year. I gave up my season seats after the first year at Citifield because I was paying double what it cost me at Shea and the seats weren’t even half as good….so that even pissed me off. But my passion for the team is so great that I just can’t NOT go. So when I go now I do everything I possibly could not to give them money……I’ll go early and park under the Whitestone Expressway so I don’t give them the $20 parking fee. I try to smuggle my own food and drink in so I don’t have to pay the concessions. I guess you can call it a covert boycott I’m doing. I’ll also go to ebay or craigslist and try to get tickets on the cheap too. When they put a better product on the field is when I’ll start parking in their lot, supporting their concessions and buying tickets through the organization again like its supposed to be. Until then I’ll continue my covert boycott…lol

They didnt go to a game based on LOYALTY to a certain team.

Thats some new era mumbo jumbo to guilt you into supporting an inferior product.I wont tell anyone not to go to a game but I wont tolerate anyone telling me im not a true fan because I dont support the team financially.

Its a 2 way street like a relationship with a WOMAN….. they treat me good by putting a good team on the field and I’ll treat her(The Mets) good by paying for tickets,parking, food etc because she(The Mets) makes me happy. If she doesnt make me happy or try to make me happy I stay away from her no dates(tickets),food,parking etc
