Mets Unveil Blue Jersey For 2013 Season

The Mets have unveiled the new blue jerseys they will be wearing during the 2013 season. The team just shared a photo of Johan Santana sporting the new duds.
I gotta tell you, I love these blue jerseys, but I love winning baseball better. Hopefully it won’t be long until the Mets Twitter account unveils some winning strategies and announcing some winning acquisitions in what has been six weeks of another cold stove season thus far.
On the bright side, at least it’s not Jason Bay modeling that jersey…

Neither love it or hate it. Good to be wearing the teams colors instead of black…but those black uni’s really hid the mustard stains well!

LOVE this jersey and would love to see the Mets incorporate orange more prominently in some aspect of their uniforms.
Really. I don’t know why they don’t do that! An orange jersey would be cool — look at the Giants’ jersey, really nice in orange. They should have an alternate: orange jersey with blue lettering!
Last year it was blue walls, now it’s blue jerseys. Hopefully one year the biggest offseason story will be about getting a player that can actually help us win more games.
Eh. I just don’t like the big solid color jerseys. They look too much like company softball team uniforms
I fell in love with these Jerseys when they rocked the Los Mets ones 2 years ago. I might have to rock a Harvey one.

They’re really nice. And yes, a winning team to go with them would be even better. I bought the black one a couple of years ago as Jason W said, they hide the stains! I’m going to get Santana’s — with the no-hitter he’ll always be a Mets icon. Sorry for those who bought Bays’ jersey when he came to the Mets. Ugh.
The one thing the Mets seem to do a good job on is the jerseys. This one will make a fine addition to my collection.

I thought the return of the 1962 original pinstripes in the off-white color was a great idea and a nice return to our roots. Was that just a one year thing?
Love the jersey, but kinda reminds me of the Starter jerseys that were so popular in the early 90s. To pull it off I think they need to go with the pinstripe pants. At least it’s not a picture of a jersey from Joe-Ds closet.
Any word on an alternate hat to go with this jersey?
