He made $2.2 million through arbitration last year and there will be competition for him so $3.5 is the least he will get coming off a great season and entering free agency.

It’s a shame how lowly this team has become. Their banking everything on two drafts whose top picks are off to terrible starts compared to players from the same draft.

I hope this doesnt mean another $3.5 million for a guy like Rauch or Ramirez. Would rather see that money spent on the outfield. We cant afford another bullpen revamp by this front office.

Nobody is too old to play for the Mets. Of all the names on that list I see a dozen or so who would help and Peralta isn’t one of them.

Not that this list means anything at all, but I did find it strange/odd that there was not one outfielder pegged to the Mets at all.

Maybe someday our small market team will be significant again. Not like BJ Upton wouldn’t help this team or anything. SMFH.
