So they sent him back to Kingsport and he continued to stink up the joint.

To adress what position he’ll play, probably shortstop. The Mets picked him so high because he is a rare pure shortstop prospect, so my guess is he will stick ther for now. When (or if) the time comes that they have to choose between, say, Ruben Tejada and Cecchini, they’d move him.
